- I investigate sub-critical fracture processes in rocks that form hydrothermal fluid reservoirs. Using controlled fracture experiments on rocks that simulate natural reservoirs, I analyse slow crack growth driven by fluid-induced stress corrosion, providing quantitative insights into the long-term evolution and overall quality of these reservoirs.
