Geosolutions Leeds at the European Geothermal Congress 2025
We're delighted to announce that the Geosolutions Leeds geothermal team will be attending the European Geothermal Congress (EGC) 2025 in Zürich, from 6 to 10 October.
EGC2025 is the largest geothermal congress in Europe, featuring an exciting programme of plenary and technical lectures, networking and business opportunities, side events, and social events.
Our team will be contributing to this year’s programme with a series of presentations:
- Dr Adam Booth - Fibre optic distributed sensing of geothermal reservoirs: first results from the University of Leeds Geothermal Campus boreholes
- Katerina Kyrkou - Enhanced in situ thermal response testing with distributed thermal sensing and electrical resistivity tomography
- Prof Fleur Loveridge - New European guidelines to unlock shallow geothermal energy resources via energy geostructures
- Joe Kelly - Open-loop thermal tracer tests to characterise fractured aquifers for shallow geothermal applications
- Dr Arka Dyuti Sarkar - Onshore seismic thermometry: forward modelling subsurface temperatures from the University of Leeds Geothermal Campus boreholes
We look forward to sharing our latest research, connecting with peers, and exploring the future of geothermal energy in Europe.
